Allen County Family Resource Center
Kids don’t come with instruction manuals. The Allen County Family Resource Center is here to help.
The Allen County Family Resource Center exists to support families and provide a community-centered location for parents to access resources, encouragement, and physical support.
With a special emphasis on early childhood development supported through funding from Early Learning Indiana, the Family Resource Center offers support and resources for developmental concerns, home safety activities, bonding activities for parent and child, and so much more. Families can stop by for free developmental screenings of their young children and be connected to solutions and resources to meet their family’s needs.

Each infant and child grows and develops differently. It is important for parents to know their child’s strengths and weaknesses to make sure they are reaching important milestones. The Allen County Family Resource Center understands this and offers free questionnaires to help identify your child’s needs.
Questionnaires are completely free.
Questionnaires can be done for children ages 5 and under.
Questionnaires help identify progress and delays in a child.
After questionnaires, pediatric referrals are made, if necessary.
The Allen County Family Resource Center can assist in developing the gross and fine motor skills of children through play.
