Join SCAN for this free Domestic Violence Workshop on Wednesday, October 16th at 9 a.m. to learn more about Domestic Violence, the effects it has on survivors, and how you can support survivors of Domestic Violence. Doors open and check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
Join us for a morning of learning from our speaker Zachary Anderson and discussion with a panel of advisor who can help you see things from a survivor’s point of view.
Space is limited to 150 attendees so be sure to register early. Individuals will receive continuing education hours from this event. A light breakfast will be provided.

Meet Our Presenter: Zachary Anderson
Zachary “Zandi” Anderson (he/him) is the Evaluation and Program Planning Coordinator with the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV). Prior to working with ICADV, he worked in the child welfare and disability fields. He graduated from Wabash College in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in theater and graduated this spring from IUI (fmr. IUPUI) with a master’s in social work.
Zandi describes his work at ICADV as “listening to survivors, to center their needs.” As part of his role, he supports stakeholders with adopting and implementing practices that center all survivors of DV. This includes projects around safe alternatives to accountability, uplifting survivor leadership, and implementing mobile advocacy.
He was born in Minnesota but has had the opportunity through childhood to live across the country in the states of Arizona, Hawai’i, Texas, California, and New York. He has a preschooler deeply passionate about play and loves most all kinds of music.
