Prevention Education At SCAN

One of the biggest hurdles for community members who want to ensure the families around them stay free of abuse and neglect is a lack of knowledge on the subject. Knowing is half the battle, which is why having a strong base of understanding is so important.

This is where SCAN’s Prevention Education comes in. SCAN’s Prevention Coordinators provide educational trainings to school, churches and community organizations. Children, ages 3 to 18, as well as adults, can receive training on the Indicators of Child Abuse and Neglect, Bullying, Gun Safety, LGBTQ+ and more.

Together, we can create safe communities for our children! Request a training for your school or organization using the button below.
