Miami County Prevent Child Abuse Council
Connecting Miami County to protect children
Prevent Child Abuse (PCA) Councils bring together leaders in our community to act as a voice for families and children to make sure their needs are met. By involving leaders from social work, education, government agencies, health care, community resources such as food pantries, business and nonprofits, PCA Councils are able to hear from every viewpoint in a community to better protect children and set communities up for success.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution to creating safer communities. Just because one solution may work one place, it does not necessarily mean it would be effective in Miami County. It is the goal of the Miami County PCA Council to bring together all the stakeholders in our community to find local solutions to challenges facing families in Miami County.
By participating in events held by the Miami County PCA Council, or even joining the Council as a member, you can help guide your community in creating safer and brighter futures for children.
Whether it is make connections between resources, working together to develop solutions or creating events that highlight the work the community is doing to prevent child abuse, PCA Council members are helping to create a safer and brighter future for families.
