Moving Forward - Impact Story

Tanya and Lawrence had recently moved to Indiana with their two children to live with family after being evicted from their home. This was a temporary solutions though and eventually the day came where they could no longer stay with family and needed to find a permanent place to live. This is when they reached out to SCAN for help.

SCAN was able to assist them by providing them with gas cards to help with their travels to find new homes and was able to help them with finding resources to pay off their evictions. Additionally, SCAN also assisted with finding a landlord who would accept the family’s Section 8 Voucher.

Tanya, Lawrence and their kids are now settled in at their new, and permanent, home!
